Sheltering Homeless Families...

About 150 homeless families find shelter at ECS St. Barnabas Mission each year, but government funding covers only 60% of our costs - the bare minimum. Thanks to you, ECS can offer security, nutrition, health services and counseling to break the cycle of poverty.

$90 means a week of class for one student.  |  $3,000 could cover two semesters.

Protecting Children at Risk...

The needs of children are at the heart of nearly every ECS program. Because an episode of homelessness can severely disrupt a child’s education, educational programs at ECS St. Barnabas Mission provides state-licensed early childhood and after-school programs.

$30 serves one child for a week.  |   $1,000 serves all the program’s children for a day.

Tribute Gifts

Tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to celebrate a birthday, wedding, new baby, graduation or any special occasion. They also serve as a special expression of sympathy by honoring the memory of a friend or relative. Tribute or memorial gifts can honor someone you admire, respect, or want to remember in a meaningful way.

To make a Tribute Gift, click here to make an immediate online contribution. You can use this form to give instantly by credit card or receive an invoice by mail.

The recipient of your tribute will receive a letter from ECS indicating you made a gift and the gift will be listed in our annual report (the amount will not be disclosed).

Now, you can even print your own acknowledgement card instantly. Visit our printable cards section to find just the right one.

You may also call us at 215.351.1460 or send us a letter with the name of the person in whose name you want to make the gift, the occasion, and the name and address of any person who should receive a notification of your gift. Please remember to include your own name and address so that we can give you the proper acknowledgement of your gift, which will be tax deductible for you.

ECS welcomes your support at any level, because every dollar supports vital ECS programs for people in need. Society levels are assigned based on a donor's total donations for the fiscal year ending June 30.
