Advocacy
ECS campaigns for legislative and policy changes that will improve the quality of life for its clients. ECS works with interfaith groups and other organizations to:
research and coordinate public policy efforts
monitor the impact of welfare laws
track and report legislation affecting the poor
advocate on behalf of ECS client needs
ECS also helps coordinate the statewide Diocesan Advocacy Network for Informing and Encouraging Legislators (DANIEL).
